Eric McElveen: On the Breaking of the Gaza Ceasefire
“Oh, the horror! Messages were leaked between U.S. intel officials on the attacks in Yemen. This will definitely bring down the fascists in the White House. Surely, the leaks allowed the enemy to foil the attack, right? No? Well, classified information must have been in these chats. Oh, thats not the case either…. At the least, Trump’s cabinet officials are inexepreinced dolts who should have never been on Signal! Aha, the Biden adminstration encouraged the use of it too? Very well. Lets go scream about Elon and billionaires.”

Ellie Bai: On the Breaking of the Gaza Ceasefire
Trump’s newly signed executive order intends to trim mail-in options and tighten voter ID rules—all in the name of “election integrity,” of course. Funny how the person in power gets to tweak the system that decides if they stay there. When presidents start editing the election manual, it stops looking like leadership and starts feeling like a loophole. Democracy isn’t meant to be customized for convenience. Reform’s overdue—not to favor one party, but to make sure the process belongs to the people, not the players. If the rules keep changing, maybe it’s time we change who gets to write them.
Alexis Berridge: On the Breaking of the Gaza Ceasefire
Israel’s recent airstrikes were an appalling display that proclaimed a lack of regard for ethics and innocent human life in its pursuit of Hamas. Where many countries would pause for the sake of children, the wounded, or civilians, Israel has shown no restraint. It has gone so far as to say this is only the beginning following the bombing of a hospital. Other media sources have been unafraid to label this situation as the end of the negotiated ceasefire agreement. If Israel believed this would assist the return of hostages it has only set them back while decreasing the trust that could’ve led to peaceful outcomes.
