JEFF HALL, EDITOR & CEO, OUR NATIONAL CONVERSATION

Jeff Hall has worked for a big newspaper (Los Angeles Times), a medium-sized newspaper (Kansas City Star), and a tiny newspaper, the Brentwood News, which he started in 1991.        

He believes our political and media ecosystems have become too polarized, doing great harm to America.

OUR NATIONAL CONVERSATION (OurNationalConversation.org) is a new attempt at nonpartisan news and commentary, with a focus on problem-solving, not finger-pointing. 

It's time to get America talking again, according to Hall and several colleagues who are behind ONC. 

Hall and several media and public policy professionals joined forces with a small army of student interns and built OUR NATIONAL CONVERSATION. 

"Future leaders of America need to gain experience actually leading. ONC provides this."

Hall is a Stanford grad (BA, communication) and a Harvard MBA. He spent a year at the White House as a White House Fellow.
