Hi Ellie! Great piece! I am so passionate about gun reform policy as gun violence has caused so much chaos for my generation and my city (Las Vegas, NV). In 2018 Las Vegas suffered the largest mass shooting in modern day history and last year my local university also became a victim of gun violence. I'm glad the younger generation has expressed interest in gun reform since it has been a topic of discussion for such a long time without any legislative movement. I am terrified of myself, my loved ones or my community further becoming victims of preventable violence and I hope that this expansion will hinder gun violence a bit more.
