Seattle police officer who struck and killed a graduate student from India is fired

Seattle’s interim police chief said she fired Kevin Dave, who hit Jaahnavi Kandula, 23, with his patrol car, after the city’s Office of Police Accountability concluded that he had violated four department policies.
