Strong earthquake strikes in China’s Tibet region near border with Nepal

A strong earthquake has hit western China near the border with Nepal. The U.S. Geological Survey says the magnitude 7.1 quake in China’s Tibet region occurred at a depth of about 6 miles on Tuesday morning.
