Despite looking outwardly more shallow than Dynasty Warriors, Capcom’s take on the Musou-style formula was full of surprises, with synergistic abilities and potentially complex combo chains. More importantly, however, it was silly melodramatic nonsense. Sengoku Basara wasn’t just fun, it was funny. It leaned s
